Do you mean PvP?
If you do mean PvP then yes, Eve online does indeed have quite a large PvP component.
You can choose to fight against PvE encounters, however the game is designed to be played with player run corporations (like guilds) |

| E.V.E online is a Pay to play game that is correct. You have to buy the game client from the site, you then get 30 days of play and after that you have to pay monthly. |

| However, it is possible to earn ingame money and use it to buy gametime cards from other players, other the OFFICIAL site and forum, so after one or 2 months you should be able to pay your acc with ingamen money. |

Actually that Is incorrect since you can create a free trial account and then download the client for free...You can try the game for 14 days
And you can also get discounts if you buy for example 6 months of game time |

| Yes it's p2p and the above poster is incorrect about there not being Time Cards, for the few months I played I used in game currency to purchase one for the last month I played. I think there is a whole section on the forum for it if I remember correctly. I met quite a few people in game who used in game currency to continue playing and never had to spend real money and others who made a ton of in game money selling the time cards. This really has no effect on the game itself as the PvP is so punishing sometimes you can't really flood the market. |
