Change Job Quest

When you have everything ready, go find Swordsman Master in Eastern Room of the Guild Palace 2nd Floor.

1. Talk to Swordsman Master and he will ask you to hunt Bawoo for Meat.
2. Talk to Swordsman Master again with Meat in your inventory to complete quest. And he will ask you to unequip everything.
3. Remove your clothing, accessories, weapon and then talk to Swordsman Master again.
4. You will be encase in a white glowing light and become a Swordsman, a new skill Quick Slash Combo 1 will be learned.
5. Re-equip your clothing, accessories, weapon and then talk to Swordsman Master again to receive Swordsman Token.

At level 30, a Swordsman can choose to become Blademaster and later can choose to switch to Bounty Hunter job. However, it is not recommended to immediately change job at level 30. You should at least learn the level 32 Sword Delay Cancel skill to skill level 3, before changing to Blademaster. Once you change to 2nd job, you will no longer be able to learn the higher level 1st job skills.

1. Swords
Swordsman has more active & passive skills designed exclusively for use with swords than for any other weapons. One of the Swordsman most important skill called Sword Delay Cancel, only works for swords. Gives best effect for Quick Slash Combo series of skills.

2. Axes
If you do not intend to use Sword Delay Cancel skill, you can choose to use Axe. Why Axe? Because Swordsman and later Bounty Hunter can learn Axe mastery skills and the Axe weapon has higher Hit (Blow/Smash) ATK than swords.  Gives best effect for Blow series of skills.

3. Daggers
Lastly, if you are AGI-type swordsman and you don’t have Sword Delay Cancel skill yet or don’t intend to use it, you can also choose to use Dagger. AGI’s increase in attack speed complements the fast attack speed of the dagger. Furthermore, there is a good level 21 dagger called Main Gauche that gives +3 Defense and +10 Evasion (Melee).

However, unlike sword & axe, there are no 2-handed daggers. So you don’t get critical attack bonus when using dagger. And you don’t get Increase Dagger Accuracy skill either. Therefore, it is recommended that you switch to using Swords and get the Sword Delay Cancel skill as soon as you possible..
